Description of Activity

 

Bengals in Government is a club that allows its members to immerse themselves in debatable issues, affecting citizens in their state/world and even propose legislation.  BIG culminates with students serving as delegates at their state conference, debating bills on the floor of the legislature.  The club has 2 programs, both through the YMCA.  Youth in government and Model UN.  The club will also be running from September to April.

 

 

Meeting times and places:

 

Meetings are Mondays after school, once per month.  Check with Mr. Hayek or join the Google Classroom for meeting information.
