About

Blaine High School After-School Strength and Performance Programs are designed to help student-athletes train with purpose and consistency in a safe, supportive environment. The program emphasizes proper movement mechanics and progressive strength development to minimize the risk of injury and support long-term athletic health. Through structured workouts and focused coaching, athletes are challenged to push their limits and reach their full potential both physically and mentally. Beyond athletic gains, the program also aims to build self-confidence and self-esteem, helping each participant grow as both a competitor and an individual. Join us and invest in your development as an athlete and a leader. 

Spring session

When: Mondays, Tuesdays and Thursdays
Time: 2:50-3:50 p.m.
Start date: Monday, March 16, 2026
End date: Thursday, May 21, 2026

Summer sessions

When: Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays
Start date: Monday, June 15, 2026
End date: Friday, August 7, 2026
(No sessions June 19 or July 3-10.)

Nine sessions available for high school athletes, each running an hour and a half. Sessions will have a maximum capacity of 55 athletes/session. Each session is tailored to, but not limited to, the following groups listed:

  • SESSION 1 - 6:30 a.m. (Male grades 11/12)
  • SESSION 2 - 7 a.m.  (Male grades 11/12)
  • SESSION 3 - 7:30 a.m.  (Male grades 10/11)
  • SESSION 4 - 8 a.m.  (Male grades 9/10)
  • SESSION 5 - 8:30 a.m.  (Male grades 9/10)
  • SESSION 6 - 9 a.m.  (Eighth-grade males that have participated in at least one year of middle school summer strength.) 
  • SESSION 7 - 9:30 a.m. (Female grades 8 -10. Eighth-grade females that have participated in at least one year of middle school summer strength.)
  • SESSION 8 - 10 a.m. (Female grades 9-12)
  • SESSION 9 - 10:30 a.m. (Female grades 10-12)

Blaine High School will also host a co-ed Strength and Performance program for middle school athletes on Tuesdays and Thursdays. This program will start on Tuesday, June 16 and run until Thursday, August 6. All sessions are an hour and a half.

  • SESSION 1 - 8 a.m. (CO-ED grade 8)
  • SESSION 2 - 8:30 a.m. (CO-ED grades 7-8)
  • SESSION 3 - 9 a.m. (CO-ED grades 6-7)
  • SESSION 4 - 9:30 a.m. (CO-ED grade 6)
